Claire is a second year Food Studies master’s student at NYU where she bounces between writing, food systems and sustainable business courses, honing in on her silver food studies glove. She hails from the Garden State, where she consumed as many ears of corn and perfect tomatoes she could before she moved to New Orleans, where she spent the past eight years. She has a background in restaurant management and business development. Her food secret is that she has slaughtered, gutted, (and plucked and trussed) lots of Bulgarian farm animals.
