Born and raised in the boogie-down Bronx, Yvette received a B.Tech. in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts at the New York City College of Technology and has worked in catering and event planning for the past several years. Determined to dig deeper into the world of food, she joined NYU as a Food Studies graduate student this past September. Outside of work and school, Yvette loves exploring street food and beer culture in NYC. She is also an avid swimmer and devoted Games of Thrones fan.
