Aperol
Aperol was created in 1919 in Padova, Italy, by the Barbieri Brothers who launched the revolutionary idea of an aperitif – a light cocktail with a low alcohol content. Their stylish and versatile creation inspired a cocktail which has become the signature drink of Italy: the Aperol Spritz. It is easy to make: ice, 3 parts Prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, 1 splash soda, and a slice of orange.
