Eating Disorder
How We Ate Our Summer
This week on Eating Disorder, hosts Crazy Legs Conti and The Rev Spyro kick off the new radio season welcoming competitive eaters, Yasir "Doggie Bag" Salem and Eric "Badlands" Booker to the show to talk about how they ate their summers. Talking about their backgrounds and how they came to find themselves in the competitive eating realm, Yasir and Badlands go in-depth on what it's like to eat for hobby and lifestyle. Sharing recovery stories including a competition featuring cannoli, Badlands notes that one should not drink orange juice after subjecting one's throat to multiple, crunchy cannoli. After the break, Crazy Legs gets the inside scoop on different food techniques that each guest tends to fall back on during a competition, notably with chicken wings and ribs. Tune in to hear about Crazy Legs' crazy time at Burning Man and to catch up with the guys! This program was brought to you by Roberta's.
