Oct 29th 2012. Superstorm Sandy blew into town, and while many in the New York area were spared, there were those who despite boarding up their windows and doors, found themselves face to face with total devastation.
Today marks the one year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy and although most of us have been able to move on, others are reminded on a daily basis of what they lost and what they’ve worked so hard to rebuild.

Heritage Radio Network acknowledges the anniversary of Sandy with this special segment that checks in with many of most hard hit business owners in Red Hook and pays tribute to those who are still struggling.
