Today’s guest is Tejal Rao, reporter at The New York Times and a columnist for the The New York Times Magazine, covering food culture and cooking. She won James Beard Foundation awards for her restaurant criticism at The Village Voice and Bloomberg News in 2013 and 2016. She was born in England and grew up there, Sudan, Kuwait, France and the United States. On today’s show we’ll talk about her writing process and some of her favorite stories that she’s written.
