While studying in Buenos Aires, former intern Natasha stumbled into the city’s underground world of illegal dining known as “restaurantes a puerta cerrada” (closed door restaurants). From comfort food to vegan restaurants, Argentina’s secret dining world provide exciting dining experiences for locals. Join Natasha as she explores the history and the future of closed door restaurants in Buenos Aires.

Natasha Verdon is a senior at NYU where she studies cultural anthropology with a focus on food. She is currently researching and producing a thesis on gender performances of celebrity chefs. In her spare time, Natasha paints and has recently perfected her French onion soup risotto recipe.
