In 2015, Ann Yang started Misfit Juicery in a dorm room at Georgetown University with her best friend Phil. Its mission? To help solve the United States’ massive food waste problem. Just a few years later, they distribute their delicious juice all over the East Coast and are expanding into a line of food, made from supply chain inefficiencies. We think she’s wonderful because, as her website states, Misfit Juicery is “laying the foundation for a movement that celebrates the oddballs in food and in life, one product at a time.”
