David is a journalist, writer and broadcaster, with two decades of experience in print, online, TV and radio and a life-long love of food and wine.

The former boss of BBC Breakfast and Channel 5 News, David has also presented programmes on LBC and BBC local radio, as well as writing for The Buyer, Club Oenologique, Harpers, Waitrose Magazine as well as his own website vinosaurus.co.uk and has also appeared as a drinks expert on ITV’s This Morning. David has a diploma in wines and spirits from the WSET and also judges for the IWSC, the leading international wine and spirit competition, for whom he co-presented the 2020 awards ceremony.
