Peter Reinhart is a renowned baker, author, and educator. He has written several books, including: Bread Revolution, American Pie: My Search for the Perfect Pizza, The Joy of Gluten-Free, Sugar-Free Baking and The Bread Baker’s Apprentice.

Three of Reinhart’s books have won James Beard Awards, including “Book of the Year” in 2002 for The Bread Baker’s Apprentice.

Reinhart founded the Brother Juniper Bakery in Santa Rosa, California. Currently, he is the Chef on Assignment at Johnson & Wales University. He is known for his Pizza Quest, documented on PizzaQuest.com, where he traveled around the United States and Italy for 2 years, in search of the perfect pizza.
