Her book Whitewash: The Story of a Weed Killer, Cancer and the Corruption of Science, won the coveted Rachel Carson Book Award from the Society of Environmental Journalists.Gillam is currently the Research Director for the non profit US Right to Know. Her work is invaluable in the fight for knowledge that can shape public health and our lives.
