The Shameless Chef was no “label snob,” Michael Davenport preaches the importance of judging a wine (and any food or beverage) according to one’s palate, not prejudices. He supports breaking rules like “white with fowl and red with meat,” but gives his own suggestions for storing and sipping wine. While Michael warns against the dangers of punch bowls, there are a few he sings the praises for. And when the holidays finally end and you wake up on New Year’s Day with a hangover, he has advice for that too.
