Eric L. Adams is dedicated to helping every Brooklynite lead their best life. During his first career as a police officer, the Brownsville native earned a reputation for going above and beyond the call of duty. In 1995, he co-founded 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care, an initiative that improved NYPD/community relations and raised funds for worthy causes throughout the city. From 2006-2013, he served in the state senate, until he was elected as Brooklyn’s current Borough president. In latest new role, he is committed to addressing the wide range of concerns facing Brooklynites, and ensuring that the borough’s popularity means prosperity for everyone living there.
