Radio and Research Intern
Angie grew up in Berkeley, CA and graduated from Wesleyan University this past spring, where she majored in Anthropology. While studying in Connecticut, she grew to love the dramatic shifting of seasons, finding connectedness in watching the cycles of plants. During her time on campus, she worked on a student-led permaculture project, practicing applied sustainable design. She also led foraging and plant identification walks for her peers, as well as weekly meditations. Angie believes that food offers us an opportunity to think critically and deliberately about how we exist within community and in the world, beginning at an embodied level. She often shows her love by cooking food for friends and family. She is excited to delve into the rich world of culinary storytelling at HRN.
