Anna (she/her) is a recent graduate of Cornell University who was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. As the daughter of a restaurant manager, she’s been surrounded by food for her entire life, but she discovered her personal passion for food systems through the lens of sustainability. She studied environment and sustainability, and fell in love with audio storytelling during her senior year. Outside of HRN she works on a sustainable agriculture podcast called Field Work. When she’s not doing radio, she can be found listening to music, doing stuff outside, or crocheting. She’s recently been crocheting plush foods — a mushroom and an egg are the latest editions.
