Kate is from Massachusetts and graduated with a degree in History from Brown University in December 2022. During her undergraduate years, she spent her time writing, editing, and podcasting for various publications and media outlets, both on campus and around New England. She spent her final semester abroad in Bologna, Italy, where she fell in love with both the Italian language and Italian food culture. Kate is excited to combine her passions for audio and food journalism during her internship. She hopes to explore themes of access, sustainability, and food justice in her work for HRN.
