Krista Scruggs began working in the wine industry at Constellation Brands. She’s worked in Washington, Italy, Southern France, Texas, and most recently La Garagista in Vermont. In 2018, she debuted her first Vermont-grown vintage of biodynamically-farmed hybrid grapes and foraged apples, bottled pét-nat crafted from Texas-grown hybrid grapes. As the founder and vigneronne of ZAFA wines, Wine Enthusiast magazine named her of of the industry’s top 40 young innovators of 2018.
