HRN Hall of Fame: Matthew Raiford and Jovan Sage

Jovan Sage is a food alchemist, herbalist, grower and restaurateur. Chef Matthew Raiford is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of American and a certified ecological horticulturist. Together, they run Gilliard Farms, a Centennial African American and organic family farm, in Brunswick, Georgia. Their passion and respect for culinary experience comes through every educational farm tour and cooking class they give, as well as the dishes they prepared at their now closed restaurant The Farmer and the Larder.
