HRN Hall of Fame: Nathan Myhrvold

Nathan Myhrvold is one of the most visionary people working in culinary science today. After retiring as Chief Technology Officer from Microsoft, he turned his attention to inventions that will improve the world, through his company Intellectual Ventures. He also created Modernist Cuisine, and its publishing arm, the Cooking Lab, in Bellevue, Washington, to advance the state of culinary art, and to share that progress with home cooks, though his award-winning books, including Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking and Modernist Bread–the inspiration for the HRN show Modernist Breadcrumbs. We can’t wait for his next, Modernist Pizza.
