Sam Lee wanted to find out more about what it’s like to celebrate Paczki Day in the place that many see as the Paczki Day Capital: Hamtramck, Michigan. She talked to Hamtramck’s Mayor and several local business owners about their Paczki Day festivities and what it means to the city as it evolves into a larger melting pot. In the process, she found out about a band called the Polish Muslims and paczki bombs – which allow you to get fat and drunk at the same time!

Special thanks to the Polish Muslims for allowing us to use their music. Find out more about them here.

The intro song is “Beggars and Felons” by Power and Beauty.
