Heritage Radio Network is celebrating 10 years of existence because of Patrick Martins. The New York native founded HRN to ensure a food media platform that could and would actually address the issues that truly concern farmers and the vitality of America’s food supply. He also started Slow Food USA, co-authored The Carnivore’s Manifesto, published by Little, Brown & Co., and runs Heritage Foods, a distribution business for heritage breeds of livestock and poultry. In 2019, the New York Times applauded the company for being “at the forefront of the nonindustrial meat movement.” In addition to those responsibilities, Patrick still finds time to host the weekly live radio show and podcast The Main Course O.G. on HRN, and remains a visionary leader of HRN, providing heart, soul and guidance on a daily basis.
