Lunch For Learning
There are around 750,000 students in New York City public schools who are eligible to receive a free lunch while at school, yet a very small portion of them take advantage of this opportunity. As a result, many children are eating either no lunch or one that is vastly insufficient. The Lunch For Learning campaign is spearheaded towards solving this issue. On today's Just Food Stories, Janet Poppendieck and Liz Accles tell us just how their organization is attempting to do so. Check out this editorial about Free For All in today's New York Times!
