Taste Matters
Gabriella Gershenson
This week on Taste Matters, Gabriella Gershenson comes into the studio to talk about her latest experience as food writer and editor for the magazine, Every Day with Rachel Ray. Talking with host Mitchell Davis, Gabriella talks about the evolution of food television, especially as food media has changed so greatly and the technology continues to influence the food world. She also talks about the magazine and the challenges behind it, which includes creating a magazine that is fun, a quick read, and interesting to those looking to cook more at home and within their communities. Her articles also have appeared in The New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, The Boston Globe, Edible Manhattan and several other publications. She's been a regular guest on WOR's Food Talk and NYC TV's Eat Out New York, and consulted on chef Jamie Oliver's travelogue, Jamie's American Road Trip. She has also appeared as a judge on the Food Network show, 24 Hour Restaurant Battle. Tune-in to learn more about the upcoming magazine this September, which focuses on recipes on Italian American cooking, and includes an amazing cannoli recipe that you can't miss. Also find out which dishes Gabriella is currently raving about (hint: you're going to have to live in Montreal!). This program has been sponsored by Consider Bardwell Farms.
