Rajat Parr is an admired leader in the world of wine. The Calcutta-raised chef became interested in wine during his studies at the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park. He went on to become one of the world’s most celebrated sommeliers before pivoting to award-winning author and winemaker. He’s the partner/proprietor of Sandhi, Domaine de la Côte, and Evening Land Vineyards–and will release a Merlot called Colete with Le Bernadin’s sommelier Marie Ponsonnet soon. Rajat is a soulful mentoring person and makes wine that is certainly delicious and sustainable.
