Randall Goldman

Businessman, restaurateur and historic preservationist Randall Goldman has served as Managing Partner of Patrick Properties for more than a decade and was recently named CEO.

Randall was instrumental in the acquisition and transformation of the company's major properties - including saving the Fish Restaurant building from near demolition - and is part of an influential team that changed the face of the historic Upper King Street neighborhood of Charleston. In his time at Patrick Properties he has grown the company from 11 employees to more than 100.

Randall began his career as a personal chef then honed his skills at Johnson & Wales University. His personal relationship with the Patrick family lured him back to Charleston, where he nurtured his love of history, preservation and community service in the restoration of the American Theater, Fish Restaurant, the William Aiken House and Lowndes Grove Plantation.

Randall is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and sits on the board of the South Carolina Aquarium and the steering committee for the Art Institute of Charleston. He is vice chair of the Hospitality & Tourism Management School at the College of Charleston, vice chair of the Charleston Civic Design Center, chair of the Local Development Corporation and member of the City of Charleston Task Force.
