HRN Hall of Fame: Renato Sardo

Nominated by: The Main Course O.G.

Renato Sardo is the rare individual who can be interesting on any subject. He grew up in a household that boasted one of Piedmont, Italy’s great home libraries, and his salon was a center of culture. He’s been on HRN many times, and talked about a wide range of topics, from Ted Kennedy and health care, to what defines an artisanal product. His business, Baia Pasta, is a true artisanal company: all their pastas are manufactured in their own facility on the Oakland, California waterfront.
