Ricardo Salvador is truly one of our food policy heroes. As the senior scientist and director of the Food and Environment Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists, he works to transition our current food system into one that grows healthy foods, while employing sustainable and socially equitable practices. He's a tireless advocate, has an unparalleled knowledge of myriad issues affecting our food system today, and works to educate and engage people in how everyone can be a part of the solution.
