Sean Dembrosky of Edible Acres
Sean Dembrosky, 32, owns and operates the 'Edible Acres' project just north of Trumansburg NY (www.edibleacres.org). Formally educated in the fine arts, but focused on agriculture for the last decade, Sean has developed a farming system based on permaculture principles and forest farming.
Learner has been farming and gardening on Orcas Island for the past 7 years, where he is now homesteading, grazing French Alpine goats for milk, cheese, and meat, growing his own vegetables and seed, processing seaweed and other wildcrafted food and herbs, hunting, and bartering with his surplus.
