Ethan Frisch is the co-host of Why Food? and a chef, entrepreneur and activist. He's the co-founder of Burlap & Barrel (www.burlapandbarrel.com), the first and only comprehensive single origin spice company in the United States. As a chef, he worked in high (and low)-end restaurants in New York City and London, and as a humanitarian aid worker, he lived and worked in Afghanistan and on the Syrian-Jordanian border.
