This Valentine’s Day, Cheese is a Love Language

How do you say ‘I love you?’ With words? A red heart emoji? A home cooked meal?

Food is a tried and true way to express love, whether it’s the simple act of making a weeknight dinner, preparing someone’s favorite birthday cake, or giving an edible gift on Valentine’s Day. There’s no reason that chocolate has to be the star of the show on February 14th though. Another delectable, smooth, and silky snack is planning to steal the spotlight this year: cheese.

Nominate a cheese lover in your life and Wisconsin Cheese will surprise 500 lucky people with a heart-shaped box filled with Wisconsin’s most lovable cheeses. Each beloved recipient will also enjoy an engraved heart-shaped cheese board. The limited-edition box features a selection of three artisan Wisconsin cheeses – some crafted on farmsteads, others by multi-generation cheesemakers or Master Cheesemakers, and many are award-winning favorites. Cheeses that may be included in boxes (which will vary) are flavored goudas from Marieke® Gouda and flavored Rubbed Fontal cheeses from Cello, assorted Pine River® cheese spreads, Carr Valley® Menage® and Shullsburg Creamery™ Colby.

Plus, one lucky recipient will discover a Crystal Wedge in their box, unlocking an all-expense paid trip to Wisconsin, the State of Cheese® for themself and three friends to enjoy: a VIP tasting and dinner with a top Wisconsin chef, an all-access tour to a local creamery and dairy farm, and a $500 cheese allowance to stock up on the world’s best cheese.

Are you feeling the love yet? Last year 20,000 cheese lovers were nominated, so don’t wait to show a fellow cheese enthusiast how much you care.

Learn more and submit your nomination here before January 27.
