Jack Algiere is the manager of, and mastermind behind, diverse farming operations at the famed Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. He integrates pastured livestock, grains, field crops, greenhouse, fruit, flowers, and compost in a four season agro-ecological system. He is also integrally involved in training a new generation of young farmers, and through his partnership with Dan Barber, demonstrates what a creative, effective chef-farmer partnership can look like.
