Daniel Boulud is a world renowned chef and restauranteur hailing from a farm just outside Lyon, France. He is chef and owner of several of the top restaurants around the globe, including Daniel, the 3 Michelin Star New York City restaurant.

The idea for Sprout Urban Farms germinated in 2009 when a citizen approached Jeremy Andrews (far right), a community organizer, about helping him start a community garden.
