"Use really good quality seasonal ingredients. You don't want to make strawberry ice cream in the middle of winter when the strawberries don't taste like anything. When you're at the farmers' market and the fruit looks the best, that's when you want to use it to make ice cream." --Kris Hoogerhyde on Hot Grease
"When you add olive oil to ice cream, you get such a luxurious mouth feeling." -- Anne Walker on Hot Grease
